Hello all. My son and I are starting a ground up bronco build. I was wondering if anybody has a parts list put together for a build like this?

Thanks

oh boy, get ready... What are you starting with and to what level of restoration do you want to go?

I would do a search in the forum. TONS of build threads with very organized parts list. Do tons of research before you start ordering all your stuff.

What are your goals and how much money do you want to spend?

As stated, lots of info on this sight. Depends on what you want and how you are going to use the truck.

Welcome! You came to the right place! A "parts list" is subjective, depending on what you're trying to do. Even a factory stock restoration would depend on how many of your old parts you're going to salvage. Once you get into upgrading to modern add-ons (like power disc brakes, power steering, A/C) there's many different choices of parts to use. If you're swapping a motor or transmission, there's even more.

The good news is you can literally start without a Bronco and buy all the parts you need to build one starting with a frame.

If you already have one you're starting with, pictures and goals will help us help you. Stock? Restomod? Upgrade? lifted?

Don't be afraid to ask anything. We've all been there. You'll have some good quality bonding time with your son.

I'm afraid in order to give you guidance you're going to have to provide a little more information. In the mean time, you might want to read some threads from people who are in process (like me) or have finished.

My advice? Spend your free time searching through all the different threads on here. I’ve been a member for years but just to occupy my free time this winter I’ve been reading a lot on here. You’ll be amazed at what you can learn. Z
