• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

BIN price is way high, but it looks like a fantastic Bronco. I didn't realize you could get the grill chrome on the Explorer and love the blue tint on the floor mat. There were so many unique options on these old rigs. I really would like to see someone repro the original floor mats!

I looked at this truck in person several months ago. It's ok but needs a good bit of body work to undo some of the things the original owner did to it for hunting. The ad says no bondo and like the ad says it has been repainted. It also appeared to be mostly rust free but there were several places a magnet wouldn't stick to it maybe dents that were filled in from ranch use?? When I looked at it last fall it was in Tyler TX the price was $12,500 and they would take less. It also had a harsh engine ticking noise in the top end of the engine. I don't know what it's worth, but it needed engine work and significant body work to remove the homemade bumpers, eliminate the filler and the hood needed to be replaced because an anchor had been installed to hold the windshield down for hunting and it warped the hood. The market for these is strong right now but even if those things were fixed and from the pics it doesn't look like the cosmetic issues have been addressed, but even if they were, it's still not worth anywhere near the buy it now price. If anyone is seriously considering this one, definitely look at it in person first, drive it till it gets warm and listen for sounds. Also take a magnet.

I'm restoring a 74 Explorer Blue/Blue. My seats are different. It's interesting that there is a t least 3 different Blue Explorer seat fabric options. It's about to get new paint. Mine currently is original paint no bondo, it's cut with 3.5 lift, but it's really straight, and I want to advertise it with all it's original sheet metal. I am replacing the front floors b/c there is rust in the front floor seams, thats it.
I'm expecting to get low 20's when finished, I'm very interested to see what this one will bring. My grill is White, and it has the beltline and rocker trim. I like the Argent grill look with that shade of Blue. Love those Explorers!!!

This Bronco use to be in my town (Amarillo,TX) .
I talked to the original owner and looked at it several times. Never had the extra cash to buy it , think he was asking $11,000 a few years ago.

He was a pretty old guy not very mobile, but he would tell me stories about the
Bronco whenever I would stop by. I think he said his wife bought it for his birthday in 74. He said it spent most of its life at the ranch.
It seemed like a very clean well kept Bronco to me, think it had a little over
17000 miles when I was looking at it .
