I just got a 76 four wheel truck i have a stock 69 bronco can I use the disc brakes, power steering, differential anything? The owner gave it to me for hauling off. The idea was use it four a beater but the 360 knocks bad. Lets hear your ideas.

of course if you like the wide look you could use the wider d44 and 9"
you could have them cut down in width, i'm not sure the cost
I would love to run upon a deal like that, it's nice to have spare parts

Center section of the rear end is useable.
What transmission does it have?
What t case, 205 ? 203 ? Both are used in some applications.
Disk brakes, yes if its a half ton.

Good score for free!

The hub & rotors are the only brake parts you can reuse on a D30.
But having the whole front end shortened to Bronco size is prolly cheaper than than a disk conversion.

Right, the dana 30 is a king pin knuckle, not ball joint so you can't swap everything. And the rear center section will be 31 spline (and perhaps a different gear ratio) but that may be handy if you want to upgrade rear axle shafts.

If you narrowed the front, wouldn't you only have to work on the long side? The short side should be the same. Nice find for free!

Right now Im thinking I might drop a motor in it along with a divorced tcase behind the 208 the truck is pretty rust free. Thought I could maybe use it for a trail beeter until the somewhat restorable parts bronco is ready. the 1969 is all origonal no matter how tempted I get I just cant see to mess with that one.
