1998 Crown Victoria Donor?

I have the opportunity to purchase a 5.0 motor and auto trans from a 98 Crown Victoria for my 77 Bronco. All of the fuel injection, electronics, and even radiator are included for $500. The engine has less than 60K miles on it. Is this a good deal? Will all of this stuff work with my Bronco? What challenges can I expect? Thanks!

I think a 98 crown vicky has the 4.6 which is uncharted territory. The earlier vickys had a 5.0 speed density some have made that work good. I just did a quick search and the last year for the 5.0 in crown victorias was 1991.

Thanks for the response. Maybe the seller meant 1988? I will have to research this further.

I've got a 99 and it is a 4.6. If it indeed is a 4.6 98 and it was a interceptor, there is a fuse box/relay setup under the hood that is good for lights, fans, etc. It's what I'm putting into my 76 if I can ever get the 70 done.
