I'm looking for two U brackets from the liftgate. They are the lower brackets which connect the liftgate hinge to the hard top. My JBG hydraulic liftgate kit came with everything...except those two brackets. And my rig is missing everything related to the liftgate.

Thanks!

This piece? It's riveted on to the prop support rods. If you drilled out the rivet the hole would be too big for their connector piece. Check with JBG to see why their kit doesn't include something like that. Maybe it mounts to a different spot. if desperate, it would be pretty easy to actually make that piece. I got my kit from Toms and it came with U brackets.

Yeah, that's the piece. I need two of them. The JBG instructions say to reuse the old ones.

I saw that TBP kit, and am having buyers remorse.

I would send that back to JBG. It’s crazy to destroy an original part that could be used by someone else, or to have to search for parts to make your new part work.

I think I got mine from Tom’s. Took just a few minutes to install.

I have some if you really need them. I can figure shipping. I’ll just send you the whole things and you can slice and dice what you need.

I had the same kit from JBG, the older ones required drilling out of the brackets. They changed to include the brackets right after I bought mine. My timing is not always the best either.....
