• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

I recently got a 2001 Mountaineer that I wanted to rob the engine, serpentine, and EFI from. Well, after pulling all the EFI I can't imagine having that whole mess in my Bronco. I'm a simpleton so I guess I'll just stick with a carb. Good news is my short comings may benefit another Bronco Brother!

I think I got everything....
Upper intake, lower intake, fuel rails, injectors, the thing that sucks air right before the upper intake, ECM, the thing that goes in the distributor hole, the thing that kind of looks like a distributor but isn't, and I have pulled both the engine and power harness and did not cut a single wire! I also have the bolts for the intakes less the one for the lower intake, front driver that broke off.

$200 o.b.o. Plus shipping of course. Shipping might be kind expensive and I bet it takes 2 packages.

Also It was an AWD drive so maybe you'd want the auto tranny???? $100 for it if anybody wants it. It was a running driving Mountaineer with 180,000 miles on it.

EDIT: Open to trades too. Full cage, AC, 351. Can't really think of anything else but I have an open mind.

Thanks,
Tyler

I live in Louisiana. I find complete running and driving V-8, 1996-2001 explorers and mountaineers on craigslist and market place from time to time for $500 and up. I just bought one that runs good but had a bad transmission for $350 dollars and missed another for $300. Not saying what you have for sale is not worth what you are asking because someone may not want to go to the hassle of pulling all this stuff but just giving you something to think about.

/\/\ I agree partly, but if they don't want to go to the trouble of pulling it off themselves they probably don't want to go to the trouble of installing Explorer EFI (most likely would install some TBI system instead).

Good points guys. I'll adjust the price to $300 and see if anybody is interested. Seems like shipping would be high too. It's a ways out, but I could bring it to Super Cel.

Roger, that was my intent, but I was overwhelmed by all the parts and pieces. I don't want all that under the hood of my Bronco.

Don't be afraid,

a bunch of the stuff you probably are worried about will go away. Work with EFIGuy and get your harness made.

Super easy!

They run soooooooo nice. You will never want to mess with a carb again!

Price drop $200

Fish, that looks very nice. Where are you going to mount the ecu?

Thanks,
Tyler
