2006 GMC C4500. These are also known as the Chevrolet Kodiak & GMC Topkick. It has a Wester Hauler style bed with a 5th wheel attachment. You can remove the bed and install any one you like....traditional dually bed, flat bed, wrecker bed, etc. These wheelbases can be tough to find and are highly sought after because of the bed options. It has the 6.6 Duramax and Allison transmission which run great. no funny noises, smells, leaks,etc. No lights on the dash, etc. With only 127k highway miles, she'll last a long time.
I used this truck personally to tow my camper and gooseneck trailer. Truck runs beautifully with a recent oil change along with fuel filter. Recently had the transmission serviced. Just completed a $1200 brake job. Not even 10 miles on them yet. New glow plugs. Have receipts from services. All 6 tires have 90% tread remaining.
Truck has air ride seats, cruise, power everything, DVD player, etc. Everything works on this truck. Just completed a 12hr trip to Chicago and a 6hr trip to the Tennessee mountains for Bronco Driver's Ford Fall Weekend. Not a blip and pulled down 12mpgs towing.
Would consider trades on restored/well built 74-77 Ford Broncos. $30K.
