2010 Kansas City Meet & Greet - Please VOTE!

Hello all,

Just wondering if anyone has started putting something together for a meet & greet this summer.

Let me know if you are interested and what dates work.

We could meet at an existing show or do something on our own. I can reserve a date at my gun club (Sorry, non members can't bring guns or shoot) which is remote and has a indoor space with facilities. Tri-County Rod & Gun in Bonner Springs.

There is also a large car show scheduled at Shawnee Mission Park on August 21. It does cost $20 if you want to register your Bronco, but is free for everyone else.

Shawnee, KS: 2nd Annual Cars in the Park benefiting the Johnson County Parks & Rec Dept's Special Olympics/Special Population Dept. Theatre in the Park, 7710 Renner Rd, 66219. Shine your car, truck, hot rod, or motorcycle because it is time to show off! This is an all ages event. Entertainment includes music & dance. There will be plenty of food vendors, amazing door prizes & a 50/50 pot. All participants must be on site & registered by Noon to be judged. Awards promptly at 2PM. Optional Cruise through Shawnee Mission Park following show. This is a rain or shine event. Registration $20 by 7/30; $25 7/31-8/21. FREE entry for spectators. Three boys in sports takes alot of my time. I'm ok with that just makes going to some events hard sometimes.

I know it is the KC meet and great......but what about having it in Columbia, MO or somewhere closer this way? I know Don and Sarah would probably be more apt to come if it was closer this way too.

Just a suggestion.....I don't know of any wheeling places to go an play on that way except for Fulton, MO. That's a bit further than Columbia though.
