Announcing Early Bird registration for the 18th Annual Lonestar Early Bronco Club Spring Round Up is now OPEN! The LEBC Round Up will be held April 26-30 at K2 Katemcy Rocks, Mason Texas. Be sure to sign up by March 15 to get your Early Bird discount. The discount is available to both LEBC members and non-members so don’t miss out on the savings! Here is the link for detailed information, a schedule of events and on-line registration: Lonestar-ebc.org

  • We’re keeping the extra day format this year - 5 days of wheeling from mild to extreme! (Noon on Wednesday through noon on Sunday!)
  • Event pricing has been reduced this year even with the extra day!
  • New Event this year - The Rockin’ Horse Teeter Totter Challenge has replaced the RTI Ramp. This is open to all Broncos from Stock SNS Broncos to Bronco buggies!
  • Another New Event - Ladies Street Cruise! The driver must be a lady: Owner, spouse, girlfriend, daughter, lady friend, etc. Men, boys are welcome to ride along!
  • Not just a wheeling event. Activities for ALL Broncos - stock to modified - also include the Trail Rig Poker Run, 2 street cruises, Pit Crew Challenge, a large Show ’N Shine event.
  • Outstanding Kids Activities on Friday and Saturday!
  • Friday night live entertainment!
  • Saturday night Texas BBQ dinner, awards program and Super Prize Raffle!
  • The Round Up is open to all year Broncos (66-96) and guests of Bronco owners in attendance.

We are looking forward to a great Round Up this year with a number of Vendors in attendance. Stay tuned for more details on the new activities - the Rockin’ Horse Teeter Totter Challenge and the Ladies Street Cruise. We hope to see you there for some Rock Crawling Texas Style!!

Some tips on registration: Prior to starting your registration you can view all the details of each activity using the drop-down function. Look at these to determine what activities you want to sign up for. After you start ehe registration process enter all guests (people attending with you) on the second page of the sign up process. This will allow you select options for each guest such as extra trail vehicle, shirts, meals, kids activities, etc. You will see a selection page for each guest listed. At the end of the sign up process you will see an option to print out your registration. We highly recommend doing this and bringing it with you when you check in at the Event. More sign up tips are included on the web site.

Thanks,

LEBC Board of Directors/Round Up Committee

This is a great time for those of you on the fence. My last one was at K-rocks 1 in 2009 I believe. I hope to come to another one!

We were hoping to make the trip to TX this year for the Roundup, but the bronco build has had numerous delays so its not even close to hitting the road yet. We'll plan on next year.

Good luck with the event Gary. I know how much work it takes to pull this off. Hope to see you soon.

Thanks Judy!

The 2017 LEBC Spring Round Up starts 4 weeks from today! Is everyone getting ready? What are you still working on?

A couple of new things this year -

  • The Rocking Horse Tetter-Totter challenge - test your balancing skills!
  • Ladies Street Cruise / Wine Tasting - guys are welcome . . . to ride along!

And some favorites return -

  • Pit Crew Challenge
  • Trail Rig Poker Run
  • Even more Kid's Activities!

Plus more! Hope you can make it.

Wolf Caves!

As some of you may know, and many of you may not, there is a new off-road park very close to Katemcy Rocks. It's a very nice park with LOTS of trails of all levels. LEBC has negotiated with Wolf Caves to let Round Up attendees have a day of wheeling at Wolf Caves at a very special one-time low price. So low that they have asked that we not announce it on a group message! The offer is good from Tuesday April 25 (the day prior to our event) through Monday May1 (the day after). (This offer is not good for Friday and Saturday, their busiest days.) This is an opportunity for those of you who may be traveling a good distance to K2 and who would like to check out a new park while you are in the area. Here is a link to Wolf Caves.

If you think you might be interested in an extra day at Wolf Caves please PM me and I'll get back to you with the details. Please note that the normal minimum cost for Wolf Caves is $40 plus $15 for each passenger. Our special pricing is way below that!

Let us know if you want to take advantage of this special pricing and check out a new park!

BTT!

We are waiting until sunday before to install some zero rates and a wrap trap device in dad's bronco... just seems like the best time to do it. ???

As for mine, I've been tinkering here and there to make sure I'm ready to do. I still need to change my ignition switch because it's got a bad connection on the start side. sometimes it engages the starter solenoid, but most of the time it just clicks. according to my multimeter, it isn't passing enough voltage thru to make the solenoid engage hard enough to send voltage to the motor.

We finally got my headgasket project on the superduty finished so we have a tow rig to get us there...

Looking forward to it.

again, BTT!

I am aware of Duff's offering delivery through Bronco Design (the fiberglass guys who will be there) but you have to make arrangements soon--by 4/20, I believe.

BC Broncos is also supposed to attend and can deliver.

That's all I can confirm this year.

The Tom's rep will be flying in. He might be able to bring something that fits in the overhead!

Just some quick updates/announcements!

Online registration will close at midnight this Sunday. That does not mean you'll miss the Round Up if you miss the Online registration - walk-ins are welcome!

For the street cruises, lunch will be provided but you'll need to bring your own drinks or buy them at the destinations. If you didn't sign up for the the street cruises and you decide you'd like go on one just let us know when you check in at K2 and we can add you to the list. Remember the Friday Street Cruise is for Lady Drivers. At least starting out or until we get to the wine tasting!

The Show 'N Shine will be judged differently this year. Attendees and guests will vote on their favorites and trophies will be awarded based on the voting. No ballot box stuffing! Trophies will be given for Stock, Trail Modified and Street Modified categories, Best of Show, Best (interior, paint or engine compartment - we're not announcing which until the show so make sure they all look good!!), and a Sponsor's Choice Award.

And last but not least, it's still looking good for the rumored special surprise guest on Saturday!! Again, no promises but it will be cool if it happens.

If anyone has any questions please let us know!

LEBC Round Up starts tomorrow! Still looking good for our surprise guest on Saturday - if he does not have to cancel due to cat scratch fever.
