I went to the Mecum Auction in Schaumburg, IL a couple of weeks ago. They had two Bronco Raptors there. I was going to bid on the second one but when the first went for 160k, I had a beer instead and became a spectator. I figured that, one way or another, those vehicles will come back down in price in the next year or two. I am not going to pay that much only to say that I had one of the first ones.

Exactly. Someone was selling a 2022 2 door hard top and I was thinking about buying it. When I found out the asking price had a 50% premium above the sticker, I said "hell no" I'll wait for production to catch up. I don't mind paying a small bump, but 50%? Screw that.
