I have a brand new 11" Luk clutch I would like to use on my project with an 87 302HO and a 4spd Toploader- what flywheel is necessary for the conversion as most I found are 10.5"?

I am not sure about the clutch but there was a thread in the last two weeks where we discussed an early 90s F150 flywheel b/c it was appropriate for the Bronco clutch and had the correct balancing for the 5.0 engine....hold on let me search.... here.

about half way down Lars discusses the appropriate flywheel to order from NAPA...if you want new. Good luck.

Most guys stick with the 5.0 / 10.5" clutch as it is a lot cheaper to keep your current flywheel than to buy a new one. If you've got one I would keep it and get a 10.5 clutch. That way you can use the automatic starter instead of the manual and you'll have far less cost involved.
