32x11.5 Tire Photos

I am thinking of going down one tire size from 33x12.5's to 32x11.5's to improve my gas milage and on road handling. I have a 3 in suspension lift with no body lift. Uncut front fenders and cut rear qtr panels with flares. I am not sure how it will look. Does anyone have photos of a rig with 32x11.5's on a 3 in suspension lift?

Cool. How do you like the 32x11.5's on your Bronco (looks, handling, gas milage etc.). My 33's can rub the front fenders and I would rather go down one size then cut them.

They are 32x11.5 15 BFG ATs and I've liked them, but I'm actually looking to go to 33s. I got them when I had a 2" lift, but now I've got a 3.5" lift. They don't look as beafy as the 33s. I think it's more the width than anything. It's my second car, so I've never been worried about gas mileage. As far as handling goes I guess they are fine. I've got dual shocks all around, so it corners pretty well. Well at least in 30 year old Bronco land.

Maybe we should swap. I'm in Irvine. PM me.

Bfg also makes a 33x10.50 that would improve your highway mileage. The skiny footprint would cause less resistance and the height would keep your rpms down.

I thought the larger radius tires use more gas since they force higher rpms on the engine at a given speed? Also weight and surface area has a lot to do with it too. Do I have this backwards? It has been a while since I reviewed my geometry. I do like the idea of a smaller width tire to help with rubbing the fenders. I mostly use my Bronco for the street and mild off-roading so the 1/2 inch lost in clearance in not really a big deal to me I just do not want the tires to look too small. Lowering the CG should also help with handling.

I have a 2.5" lift - cut front and rear with 32 BFG All Terrains. My gas mileage is pretty good at 13-15 city & 18-22 hwy

It handles great on the road and it ok off road.

A taller tire will give you lower RPM this will hurt you at low speeds and help at high speeds. That's why I specified Highway mileage.

If the truck is mostly street driven then I would probably stick with your original idea of going to the shorter tire.
