I'm considering moving to fuel injection this winter. My bronco has a 351C, so I am looking for other 351c folks who have done this. I know technically it is no different than with a 302 or 351W, but....

What worked, what did not etc.

I know there are a number of options out there and I don't want to get into a debate over which is better.

The FiTech system is getting great reviews and is relatively simple to install. Its the route I am going. I also think by the time you source parts to do a mustang efi, computer etc. get injectors serviced and some new sensors you are at or above the cost of the FiTech system and there is a lot more to wire etc. Its worth researching for yourself and saying the pros and cons for you.

I don't know of any EFI systems like the Mustang 5.0L with Port Fuel Injection that would work for the Cleveland Motors. This system would rely on the correct Intake Manifold, then the rest of the 5.0L EFI would work.

Any Throttle Body EFI would convert easily. The Edelbrock E-Street worked great for me on a nice 347.

I went to a 351w when I went to EFI. Knowing what I know now, I would have liked to have used the 351C. It would have been more expensive but unique. I would buy an intake adapter that allows you to use a 302 intake from price motorsports. Used a gt40 5.0 intake, mass air and sensors , duraspark distributor from a 460 (not 100% sure that would work), and a rjm EFI harness.
I'm happy with my windsor, but I also miss my Cleveland.

couple different ways to do this. use the price motorsports intake adapter plates that allow a windsor intake to be installed. this will get you multi port injection. second is throttle body injection, I like the FAST products. it easy and fast is leading in the software development. T/B's are very easy and work good. I run a MPFI on my 400 with a old holley commander 950 system good when it came out. now I want to go to a self learning system Going to get a FAST 2.0 system for it.
