460 water neck with HEI distributor on 302 motor?

I have an HEI dizzy on my 302 motor. My dad is hoping to hook up the cooling/heating system. However. The HEI is large and the 302 water outlet doesn't fit now. Well. the outlet still fits, not the outlet part that the heater hose connects too.

I have heard that a water outlet from a 460 was the solution in regards to using that water outlet and being able to set up the heater hoses?

Anyone have any info or experience with this?
