I was told that a 4bbl (a.k.a. 4v) can be changed by swaping intake manifolds...........

is this correct?

And if so why do the cylinder heads have different casting #'s if its a 4bbl vs. a 2bbl???

Thanks

Nick~

For the 302/351w there is no real difference between the 2v or 4v engines. The 4v heads have slightly larger intake ports and the intake manifold accepts a 4v carb. Nothing like the 351C 2v or 4v differences, where the 4v has HUGE ports both intake and exhaust compared to the 2v.
