4r70w awd crossmember pics and ideas w NP205 or Dana 20

I have the 4r70 with aa adapter and have modded the crossmember per the aa instructions, turned out nice. thinking of going with the behemoth strong box with the dana. i like the versatility of the strong box. looks like with the awd the crossmember will have to fit the stock tailshaft. i saw spareparts stuff on his thread for his 205, that may be above my skill level. i remember reading a bunch of threads before i decided to mod my stock crossmember for the aa adpater.

How is the stock cross member modified to work with the 4r70W?

instructions are on the advance adapters website for the 4r70 using their adapter. i have a pic somewhere in a thread of how i modified mine. the setup is longer so it has to be moved back a couple of inches on the mounts. the advance adapter has the mount on it.

If you decide to go with the Behemoth strongbox be prepared to wait 3-4 months for delivery. Ordered mine in Nov. 2014, promised delivery in Dec, still don't have it. Can't help you with the crossmember, good luck.
