Why not get a radiator for an Explorer and put it in? Easy on the sheft parts store replacements, no shipping and <$100... Fits perfect, cools my 351W with ease.

You are probably right - never ran into that with the Explorer gear. There are ways around it though-

When we did the mass buy at the begining of the year, we used ledfootracing for the vendor. I was pleased with their service.

I use a double pass radiator. Basically twice the cooling and both necks on the same side. Works great with no silly crossover pipe under the fan blade.

I just tried the explorer rad ...it was not a good option. I think it would have been if using a 2" body lift. It was too close the gear box. I have a thread here were I tried it

I got the reversed inlet outlet from ledfoot racing from the mass buy earlier this year. Looks great, keeps cool and don't have a cross over to worry about.

I like it.

Chuck. Just saw u are using the explorer accessories. I am using the old Mustang style accessories, so my set up may not work for u. BTW, are u going to Harlan for Fall Crawl?

I found my thread, I ran into serious problems with lower hose and keeping fan centered on radiator with a shroud. I just bout fab anything ...but I couldn't get pass the lower hose being kinked in 3 spots.

Carolina...I wish, but not interested in driving 10 hrs to wheel 2 days, then 10hrs back. My DD can't handle extreme chit...not like FBG.

I'm also trying to figure out my radiator situation. I'm using a explorer 5.0. At work I have access to 1800radiators at dealer price but their almost all chinese made. I want a good fitting radiator that won't overheat and fits like stock. Have late mustang or any others been used. Is anyone using the bronco graveyard 5.0 ones. It would be nice to get the dimensions and then just order a summit racing radiator and save some cash.

Ok..what's the best size, I don't see where they show core size...just see they're 3 core. Any vendor better than another? I seen one had lifetime warranty the other had 90 days
