• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

More info for an ad I just posted on Craigslist:

Beautifully restored and carefully maintained, vintage '65 Ford F100 short bed 4x4 is the perfect gift for the vintage truck lover in your life (or for you)! A dependable daily driver, Home Depot hauler, mountain trail rider, weekend cruiser or occasional car show entry winner, this truck fits every need.

This truck is driven almost daily on my 12 mile round trip commute and is dependable, easy to handle and fun to drive and never fails to generate tons of smiles and conversations from all ages. Starting with a clean, straight body, this build was time consuming and costly, but now you can slide into the seat and take off for years of enjoyment at a fraction of the headache and cost of building one this nice, or give it as the perfect gift under the tree!

The full restoration included:

* Rebuilt 352 V8 motor (less than 10k miles on it since rebuild)
* Rebuilt New Process 435 manual transmission w/ granny gear low
* New clutch and pressure plate at time of rebuild
* New Process 24 Transfer Case
* Beautiful paint inside and out (Rangoon Red and Wimbledon White) and mild bodywork to the tune of over $5k
* Transplant of '73 F100 chassis and drive train which includes: High Pinion front axle (Dana 44) w/ disc brakes, NP transmission and transfer case, large bearing Ford 9" rear axle
* '76 F150 four-turn power steering box and linkage for smooth handling and tight steering
* New high quality chrome bumpers (Dennis Carpenter)
* New weatherstripping and door kits (Dennis Carpenter)
* New leather upholstered stock bench seat (black)
* New JVC compact disc player
* Pioneer TRX-TS40 truck rider speakers
* New front floor mat (Dennis Carpenter)
* New heat shield insulation on flooring and cab roof
* 31x10.5 all terrain tires on chrome modular rims
* New lenses (turn indicators and taillights) (Dennis Carpenter)
* New Four Wheel Drive side F100 emblems (Dennis Carpenter)
* Restored belt line trim
* New variable ride front coil springs w/ 2.5" lift (Jeff's Bronco Graveyard)
* Rancho 5000 shocks front and overload coils in the rear
* New chrome stock side mirrors (Dennis Carpenter)
* Polished chrome windshield trim
* New polyurethane radius arm bushings
* New windshield glass
* Spray-in Teflon bed liner protects bed and aids in usability
* New rear sliding glass window (Dennis Carpenter)
* Dual exhaust with mellow glass pack mufflers
* New chrome vent window shades
* Clean Georgia Title in hand

FULL DISCLOSURE ON ANY AREAS THAT MIGHT NOT BE VISIBLE IN PHOTOS OR DESCRIPTION THAT A NEW OWNER WOULD WANT TO KNOW:
* Not a flawless specimen but extremely nice. Minor paint wear/tiny scratch here and there, tiny dent in hood (can send photos if needed to serious inquires) that can be easily touched up and buffed out if you desire to do so (I use this truck as a truck so minor flaws add character in my opinion) BUT extremely solid and straight original vintage steel
** Needs stock headline if so desired to finish off interior (available at Dennis Carpenter)
*** Tires include three matching and one newer non-matching all terrain w/ good tread (I damaged a sidewall and could not find exact matching tire at the time); these have been on the truck for about five years and do have some mild cracking but are still safe with plenty of tread and many miles of use still left
**** Bed contains some small dings and dents in wheel wells and floor has a couple of small holes from use but nothing major (see in photos)
***** Rear axle pinion seal leaking slightly but is a simple fix or I can organize the repair before pick up.

Very nice. I could sell my 99 f250 and drive this truck daily. I also have a 66 f250 4x4 that I wish looked half as good!

Good luck with the sale.
