Hey gang,
I have a stock 66 Bronco with the original 6 cyl. motor; Question is if I put a v/8 in it will the value go down? Will a 6cyl. support an air conditioner?

Vintage Air sells a kit for 6 cylinder. Count on it using another 5HP of engine power and taxing your already limited cooling system.....
As for "value" of replacing your engine with a V8... It will certainly hurt it if you are trying for "concourse correct" (but so will AC). Beyond that, I wouldn't fret too much. You can always save the original engine to be included in the sale down the road. Most "mods" if done correctly don't negatively effect the typical Bronco.

If it's an all original Survivor in great condition (no holes in the tub) then yes it may lower the value to swap the engine...otherwise go for it. Or you could sell it and buy one with a V8...depends on your skill level and free time I guess. But an EB with V8 is easier to sell IMO...how long have you had it? got any pics?

It would be worth more to me with a V8, but you can always save all the original stuff if you think you will ever sell it.
