I'm not sure which part numbers are which or if the same, maybe one is a transfer case boot and the other a PTO shifter boot?

Ah sorry I see that now. Iirc the narrow one was early 66' and the wide one was late 66' use.

I’m guessing a mid year change and they didn't want to have to send out a change to the parts catalogue.
