66 Shifter Boot’s

Ah sorry I see that now. Iirc the narrow one was early 66' and the wide one was late 66' use.

I’m guessing a mid year change and they didn't want to have to send out a change to the parts catalogue.

Correct. Narrow is early, wide is late. The boot seems to have changed around the same time the 289 was introduced in March of 66. The wide version is the one most commonly used with the PTO unless it’s an early 66.
