Price: $ 1
Edit: No longer for sale.
In my search for a project frame I came across this 67 and bought it. While it would work for the custom project I have, it is too nice to cut up and modify and I think I will sell it and find the frame I am looking for.
This 67 was bought new in AZ and remained here since. Needless to say it is dry here and there are no rust issues. The combination of rust free and Lunar green 67 make this a great restoration candidate and would like to offer it up to someone looking for a great project starter.
The good: Solid rust free frame and body with original panels, doors and top. Lunar green bench seat V8 as per the Marti report. It is fairly complete minus interior. The rear bed, fender wells etc. are very straight.
The bad, some floor work was done to add a different trans at some point and the front pans and tunnel were replaced with a removal able piece so it needs just the tunnel and front floor pieces replaced. The rear quarters were cut and the front fender were cut. It will include a pair of front fenders that have been sitting for years but still NOS. The hood is solid but has the usual tears from opening that need to be repaired
Included in the sale will be a freshly rebuilt 302 long block, and rebuilt 3 speed trans. The D20 is included as well. It has one drive shaft, the cross member and 3 speed parts.
For a minimal amount of sheet metal replacement this will be an easy project with a really cool original color. I love the 66-67's and this one will be a keeper when finished correctly. I started stripping the silver paint and found the original color under it as you can see in the pics.
Its not cheap but it is not much more than an aftermarket body either for a whole original truck. if this is what you are looking for give me a shout.
