I won't even say how long this project has been going on, but I'm pretty sure I'd be in the top 5 longest builds among members here.

Anyway, I'm putting this thread together to wrap up the build and hopefully be driving it by Summer for the first time since about 1998

The past few weeks I've been tackling the the Centech wiring kit a few hours here and there. I'm waiting for a UPS delivery that has my tail light buckets and front turn signal assemblies to finish that off and all that's left is engine bay wiring for starter, alt, battery, etc.

This delivery will also have my 2.5" lift, carpet kit, dash pad cover, bumpers, brake lines, drum rebuild kits and other miscellaneous parts, so over the next few weeks, I'll be tackling that.

Before I started the wiring, I finished up the original dash. It's rough, but I figure I can always make that a winter replacement project once it's running. The goal here is get it on the road ASAP and finish up the little details once it's driving.

I'll have lots of questions along the way, but for now, here it is. I'll update with new pics as I progress.

You even faintly resemble Jaromir Jagr in your #68 Pens sweater!!

Maybe a little tougher looking ,but you could be his brother.

Ha, that was 1999, the grunge years. Funny thing is I've partied with Jags in Pittsburgh back in the the early 90's. I'm a few months older and we used to look a lot alike back when we were 20 years old. My grandparents are from a town in Czech only a few miles where he is from.

Got the rear lift in this afternoon, I'll tackle the front tomorrow.

What's the easiest way to go at the front? Put the entire front on stands and drop the axel, or can I work one side at a time?

If you are doing radius arm/C bushings you will want to drop the whole thing.
