I've found a set of axles from a 72 f100. Can these axle be used for a full width swap ? The Dana 44 is a ball joint not a closed knuckle kingpin axle but it does have drum but I've all ready have the brake parts to convert to disc it's also a high pinion. I know I need t find a 76 to 77 axles but these are only 300$ and I'll get np435 with it. Thanks josh

I see no reason why they wouldn't work for a full width swap and $300 for the axles and a 435 is a great deal.

71/72 axles had the smaller EB-size u-joints (260). But you'll probably want to go aftermarket axles anyway. Otherwise a great choice.
