• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

small engine fire ; (

looking for a 1974 under dash and engine harness stemming from center firewall. Not sure what caused fire but under the dash is fine and even to the rubber grommet that exits out the firewall to rear of valve cover, that is fine but all the plugs and wires from that point burned / melted.

I need the harness part that comes out of the firewall from behind the valve cover which has I believe 4 plugs, one to the neutral safety switch, one to the Duraspark, one to the factory electronic distributor and the ones going to the water temp and oil pressure sending units. I also need those wires extending out to those items from the plugs to the distributor/trans/oil and water.

my Bronco is a DSO 72 California, Automatic, power steering, December of 1973 build. I believe a very late 73 harness with Duraspark will work and for sure a 1974 harness will. One thing I learned is some of the model harness's came with 6 wires to the Duraspark and some came with 7 wires, mine came with 7 and that extra wire is purple.

I have heard the possibly same year Ranchero's, F100's and maybe some other models might of used the same harness from factory? anybody know of something else?

I know there is the aftermarket products but my Bronco is uncut and for the most part all original so I would like to keep under the hood close to spec.

I have my 74 (73 build) harness that I pulled when I went to a Centech in 2011. I had no issues from 06 when I got it to 11. However, some connectors have been removed over the years for other projects but most of it is still there.
Not sure when a duraspark came along, but I think it was later in 73. Mine was an Oct 73 build. Never had a duraspark that I can tell though it had been converted to elec ignition by the PO.
It is a auto w/ P/S.
You can have it for the postage if you want it. Tired of moving it around on my parts shelf.
