I just purchased a 73 bronco and from what I can tell it has the explorer package. Originally Orange exterior and orange interior but now has yellow exterior and parchment interior.

Overall it is in pretty good shape in its original condition (uncut). My plans are to put it back to the way it left the factory

I am already running into challenges finding sources for original orange interior parts. Does anyone know where to get original door panels? Or do you have to buy deluxe parchment and dye to match the seats? same for the armrest? any source for the dye?

I found the original style seat covers and they are stupid expensive (1400) for the front covers.

Any help locating a source for orange interior parts is greatly appreciated.

Good luck! I have a 74 Orange Explorer that I couldn't find any original or reproduction parts. I have my front seats and panels if you need pictures of what they look like.

You are going to pay up big and wait 2-4 years to get nice correct orange interior. The stuff is that hard to get and only one company makes anything half decent. I collect Explorers and Rangers, I have bought cars simply for interior parts.

What is your timeline for restoration and do you have a good auto upholstery shop near you who could sew up the covers? You can get the correct fabric, vinyl and welt (2 different sizes) for the seats from SMS much faster than completed seat covers. None of it is inexpensive.

You could then buy custom mixed vinyl dye to do the door panel, arm rests, door cups and seat backs. Any quality shop that sells automotive paint can mix it up for you

The floor mat is a whole ‘nother unicorn.....
