73 roll/cage bar and bikini top

I want to have a roll/cage bar installed with a bikini top on my 73 Bronco. I may try to do it myself, but in all likelihood, I'll take it to someone to have it done. I want to make sure that I can put my top back over the bar.

Can someone tell me what type of roll bar/cage and or bikini top I need to use and any pictures would be very helpful should I try to do it myself?

Second question...any suggestions who in the Houston area could install these for me?

Thank you in advance,

jba

I'm currently welding together my 8pt cage from Bronco Bob,it's comes pre-bent and should fit under a hard top or soft top. It's lots of work to weld and fit everything together,I've had to trim a few pieces but nothing major,if you can mig weld you can build this cage.

Just make sure you run some solid support from your windshield frame to the roll bar so the Bikini top isn't just mounted to the windshield frame and the roll bar. You need to tie the 2 solidly together. The wiggling windshield frame isn't good for your eyes looking through the mirror or fatiguing a 40-50 year old windshield frame until it cracks.
