U15GLZ00077. This is a June '77 build date, is it the last 77 built??? GLZ's are rare, and the sequential#is00077, and it's a 1977, and it's a Black and Tan Ranger!!!! AWESOME! I wouldn't trade this for an ICON, but I will trade it for $3800.00 cash!! Okay enough with the BS here's the skinny.

Under the hood she's got a great running 302 with dual exhaust, AL intake, 4 bbl, electric fuel pump, fuel cell, 4 core radiator, power steering, power disc brakes, NP435 4 speed.
Suspension has 11 pack rear springs with spring rockers, inboard rear shock mounts, Rancho 9000's, Wild Horses front coils, Duff's extended radius arms, drop pitman arm, nice custom front bumper, full cage, uncracked dash pad, newer C bushings, factory AT column, tires are on 16" rims 305/85/R16 with great tread.

I want to emphasize that the motor is great! It's quiet, doesn't smoke and the clutch is good with no slippage or chatter. Okay, consider the tub is junk. I will throw in my '68 tub listed on here less the doors if the buyer wants it. Sell the good parts, and restore a Black and Tan 77 Ranger with the coolest VIN ever. Sold with Bill of Sale only. PM me to discuss.

I heard this Bronco run, and can verify that it runs excellent. One of the smoothest sounding 302's I've heard.

Lots of goodies on this one!

I know, I'm starting to think I should get a Marti, sell the parts and restore it.

I used to try and find the last 77 in my searches. I need to start a new thread and see who has the latest 77?

I used to work at the Michigan truck plant, and we always did our changeover the first two full weeks of July. The 1978 model was such a big change that I'm pretty sure no 1977 was built after that.I would look for something built the last week of June 1977.We could have built a few the first few days of July before we run the line out,but it was the 70's and I can't remember.I would have liked to have a few pictures of the trucks going down the line, but if you were caught with a camera you could be fired.(at least that's what they told us)Funny how things change. Now everyone has a camera.

Why the clutch pedal with the auto column was it an auto or manual from factory?

It was an automatic from the factory, hence the auto column. The clutch was a pedal was added the same time the 4 speed was swapped. Note the power brake pedal too, those are pretty rare.

If I wasn't in the middle of trying to finish my 68 for Super Celebration I would try to put some cash back for this one. Needs some fender work but overall looks nice.
