• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

My '77 is going through professional frame off restoration. Yesterday I noticed the main fuel tank filler hose was cut to remove it. Now I need a replacement. These are hard to find.

Tom's are a work around, not OE hoses. He uses 2 short pieces of hose with piece of exhaust pipe in the middle where body sheet metal comes close to the top of the frame. I guess the purchaser would have to dent the exhaust pipe at the point where the OE hose has a indentation. I would much prefer the OE hose since there are no reproductions.

I know you are looking for an OE hose but the guys at Aero Tank shipped me a 2" ID x 1.5" ID reducer (basically a 2.25 x 1.75 OD adapter) along with 2.25 and 1.75 ID hoses when I bought their tank. I have not installed the tank yet (don't ask), but in theory it should work?

The adapter they sent me does not have a part number on it but the OD and length of the Walker 41886 Reducer pipe looks to be the same dimensions.

Good luck.

Good luck.

This is effectively what I did on the green one when I swapped in a 23 gallon tank. Sometimes the one-off year stuff needs a little help, but I wasn't going for resto or concourse, so it worked great.
