99 explorer oil filter location

Ok I got an 99 explorer engine out of my donor sitting on the engine stand and am noticing the 90degree elbow off the block for the oil filter. Does this clear the steering box. Does it need changed?

Take it off and get the threaded oil filter stud from Ford.

Ford Part# f1az-6890-b to replace the angled oil filter adapter. It will hit the steering box.

Ok that sounds simple to switch. Now on to the compression check before installing. Thanks for the help
