A Little Road Trip and Adventure in the Bronco

As I promised in this thread {http://classicbroncos.com/forums/showthread.php?t=276690} we photo-documented our little road trip to eastern Arizona
last weekend driving the "Cover Bronco (aka, "The Twilight Bronco"). The trip was to attend the grand opening of a little museum in the cattle ranching community of Springerville that we had contributed to. We had the option of doing this trip or going to our favorite car show Saturday. But a road trip instead. Duh!

The roads there and back, with the exception of I-40, were empty and wonderful. I did run into a fellow Bronco owner in Springerville while attending the museum opening. He has a 69 that he has had since new and is about ready to jump into the restoration. So I pointed him to this site. Anytime I was anywhere near the Bronco while in Springerville, there were constant expressions of Bronco love for people. Everybody loves Broncos. Same along the highways. What few cars we passed all gave the big thumbs up. See the caption on the last picture.

Below are a few pictures with captions. (I might have to spread these over several posts, we'll see.) Enjoy!

Great pics! Your wife can call her ride anything she likes, they're both cool!

I'm looking forward to seeing/living in the SW next year in retirement. Thanks for the continued inspiration.

No Hay, that is great news. The Southwest still offers lots of opportunities for great Bronco adventures. And you can't beat the traffic, as our little trip illustrates. Where else can you drive all day on roads and count the number of vehicles you pass on two hands?
