I just picked up new shocks today and was working on installing them, but I can not figure out the trick to getting the bottom part back into the bracket. I believe that I have the original set up. Any good tips?

Are you talking about lining up the mount hole on the shock with the bracket? Just have to pull down hard enough to overcome the resistance on the piston and slide the bolt thru.

Does BFH stand for big ** hammer? If so that worked as well as having some extra muscle strength to pull it on. It seems to be just a very, very tight fit. I have 3 out of the 4 shocks on the front. Need to do some grinding on a bolt the previous owner welded into place (for who knows why) for the last one. Should be able to complete it tomorrow. Also was able to get the streering stabilizer bracket on and thse installed as well. Rear shocks will have wait until tomorrow as well.
