I picked up this truck 15 years or so ago for some parts I wanted. Turned out to be a fun ride and I never got around to things until last year when the Holley Pro-Jection died. Consequently it is “non running”.
I have taken the things off of it that I need, so it’s missing some stuff. If you’re handy, I’m pretty confident you can have it back running in an afternoon. Clean title, vin visible, no glove box or door.
What it has:
* body cut at rockers, no doors, bumpers, or top. Tub has been rhino lined by PO, don’t know whats under there but haven’t seen anything ugly. PO also welded the rear bumper to the frame. I was cautious cutting it off, but plan on some minor clean up there.
* warmed-over 302 of undocumented pedigree. Strong enough to twist drivelines and output shafts. Currently sits with the dead Pro-Jection on it (Blowing fuses).
* 9” from my ‘69. Axle code B8. Has Gleason Torque lock(?) differential, acts like a locker
* D44 that I believe is a ‘71. Drums.
* Np 435
* I believe the lift is 5.5”/2”.
* Custom dash with Auto Meter gauges. Everything worked at last check.
* I believe the harness is a Centech
* Drivelines are out, but they are probably too short to count on working for more than moving it around. Flanges/yokes/ujoints all match though.
What it needs:
* carb or someone with the initiative to fix the FI
* Fuel tank (currently plumbed for efi)
* Twin sticks
* Wheels and tires. I can give you some junk rims when we get it on your trailer. The ones shown stay with me.
* Extended brake line - front axle to H block.
* Some reassembly (brake lines, suspension, etc).
