Im at the point where I'm mocking up the 4r70w to Dana 20 advance aadapter. I purchased some new polyurethane bushings that are for the Bronco but don't quite fit the mount. The Advance Adapter supplied instructions so a sharper cone shape bushing.

Any ideas on what bushing fits? I've seen where people have sharpened them with a sander but the one in the instructions don't looked like that. I plan on calling them later but I thought I'd ask in case they don't have an answer.

Here's what I'm dealing with.

Here's what Advanced Adapter show in their instructions.

Honestly, every replacement bushing I have done with a AA adapter I have had to taper the side of the bushing to get everything to line up and fit. And I have done a few 4R70Ws and an AOD.

There was one install where I took a metal washer and ground it down to fit the casting space on the AA adapter so I would have a flat surface for the bushing.
