Air locker compressor options

I'm going to pull the trigger on an Air Locker for the Dana 44 since its apart. I have read that Viair makes some great compressors that can also be used to air up tires. Obviously, ARB makes compressors as well. Any opinions on the various options? I also have to decide between the ARB Locker and the Yukon zip locker. Leaning pretty hard to the ARB at this point but need help picking a compressor.

It all depends what you want the compressor to do. If you want to air up tires, the standard ARB compressor will suck. I'm running a VIAR but it's slow. I don't bother airing up any more. Depending on tire size, it may take a while to air up. Figure out what you want it to do, then start doing research. You need to check for duty cycle, CFM, for example. You can also run multiple compressors also. Good luck!

I'm finishing up my air system this week. I went with the Smittybilt 2781 because it was cheaper and has a higher cfm at 5.65. I have a 2 gallon tank, dessicant dryer, etc etc.

I'll post up when I get it all dialed in.

I have a Viair on our Dodge for an exhaust brake. While its 100% duty cycle, it's a very low cfm. I also am looking for one for my ARB and think I'll go ARB due to the cfm and duty cycle. I opened to windows on the laptop to compare the specs and prices. Good luck.
