• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

  • The Classifieds forum is a place to buy and sell, not an open forum for people to give their opinions on Bronco values. Unless the seller specifically asks for help on pricing, please don't critique quality or asking price. If you're not interested then move on.

    Thanks!

So I'm buying a 99 Mountaineer (yeah I know it's not an Explorer) to simply nab the front dress off the 5.0L. If anybody is interested in the engine, trans, harness, whatever, please let me know. I'll keep it whole for a week or two so it can be run/driven to prove mechanical solidity. After that time, the whole thing is going for scrap. As it is now, it's got a popped brake line and broken rear glass (that's why the previous owners stopped driving it). I believe the milage is 210,000. I will confirm when I pick it up today.

I can pull the drivetrain and wiring if someone is interested in it. I will likely buy myself a new timing cover and water pump, but as long as the hardware on the 5.0L isn't too corroded I will be using it. assuming it runs and well and the trans works properly I'll be looking for $250 out of the drivetrain. Or $350 for the complete remainder of the truck minus the front engine dress.

You can call or text 219-407-1266.
