Anyone doing an EFI swap, I can't recommend this $50 tool enough. Though I used it on my 96 f150 today, it's a must for our efi classics.

Had some random lean codes, exhaust leaks and egr code.

Found everything wrong in 5 minutes.

I highly recommend everyone doing a efi swap test your engine and exhaust before hitting the road.

I plugged my exhaust and smoked it up , then plugged it into the vacuum booster hose and smoked the intake side and found a few more.

I have a similar smoke machine. It is great for finding pesky vacuum leaks and exhaust leaks. Super easy to use. Be aware that it is smoke from heating oil (it’s basically mineral oil) so when you start rig after using it engine may smoke a while to burn it off throughout exhaust. But sure finds leaks easy. Agree, highly recommend.

Thanks for the recommendation! I've been meaning to get one of these for those times I might be searching for a vacuum leak.

Just used mine yesterday on a friends 56 Ford PU. Found exhaust leak buried inside header at collector pipe junction that could never have been seen without this machine. So easy to use.
