I was thinking about using it also since I don't have the ability to cut and bend sheet metal.

Thats a terrible picture - wonder if it would work with a drop bracket...

I e-mailed them asking just that. My e-mail was bounced back but apparently they still got it. Here's the response I received:

"I'll send some photos tonight...I have them on another system. It will work with the drop braket but you'll have to the bracket around so it's not below the rubber seal."

I'll post the pics as soon as I receive them.

I had this one made locally, on my 75... Then had it copied for my 77 before I sold the 75... I did not know Scott was making them too... His stuff is top notch!

I also asked if it was possible to get the cover without the jeweled finish -

From Scott Merrell -

The finish that you see in the photo is something that we did to this cover, they come with no finish, other than what comes from the mill...smooth... you can paint, powder coat or anodize it as you wish.

I like it but need to know how it's attached and whether or not I can use it in conjunction with my bikini top. Looks like a great place for guages, switches, speakers, you name it!

That's pretty sharp! How does it attach? Any reason you didn't make it extend the full width of the windshield frame?

I used the factory mounting brackets for the wiper cover... It could be full length and I have seen one full length with more gauges and switches... I just chose not to.

Mine is open on top... Could be a catch for water, dirt, leaves, etc. But I usually have the bikini top on since I am fair skined and burn easily...

Works for me, it's all about what you like! If you ever take it off, I'd love to see some pics of the backside.

Thanks for sharing!

I'm assuming this would work with aftermarket electric kits as well? I've been thinking of having one made too.
