I guess I haven't been on here in a while due to having a baby back in March. However, I've tried searching, and looking at the event calendar and all I see is the OCBR event in Oklahoma.

Is anyone else planning to go on a ride at say Windrock, TN...Harlan, KY... Chocolocca, AL.. Etc? I generally like to participate in the fall rides for cooler temps.

I also have a well built jeep that I've been going on rides to Windrock and Harlan over the last two months. But now that we are headed towards fall I want to get up with some CB folks and run some trails without burning up in the heat!!

Let me know what u guys have planned, or if I need to organize a ride to one of these three parks in October or November!

Thanks.

Awesome. Thanks guys. I'll be at Harlan in the jeep on oct 7-8. So I prob won't be back in the bronco on October 14-15, but it is a possibility.

Duff wheeling weekend in November sounds like a great time at Windrock!! I'll put that on my calendar to attend!

Not sure of exact dates for when Veterans Day weekend is. But I'll look into it!

I know Krawlers Edge is planning a ride fro Oct. 29th I believe. Waiting to hear more details on that. As for the other rides mentioned, Duff's sounds like a blast as well as the CB ride but are they suitable for a bronco you do not want to get damaged? Are trails cleared back etc, I know they show easy to hard trails but what are the conditions of them? I don't mind mud on the tires etc but I want to avoid scratching the paint or rolling out on its side etc. for obvious reasons... I do take it on 2 track maintained roads, at least here where I live they are trimmed back probably 12-15' and most of the roads are graded a few times a year but are mostly gravel, rock, clay etc. stuff that will wash off...

As far as CB's ride it isn't the toughest trails and broncosbybart brings his nice rigs out on the trails. But there is some tough spots if you want a challange.

Suzy or Mike can explain more, but I do think that they are planning a more scenic ride this year for the nicer rigs. Windrock has a great infrastructure of dirt roads that are wide enough for both direction traffic and then some.

Windrock is an excellent park. The main gravel road, which will take you all over the park has no over growth. The majority of the easy trails are free from limbs and scratches as well. But the majority of the blues and blacks have some overhanging branches and limbs in almost all of them. I was just there two weeks ago for a jeep club ride and they definitely have some overgrowth that will pin stripe your rigs.

However, it's probably one of my favorite parks on the east coast next to Harlan, Ky.
