Any Interest in 23 Gallon Stainless Tanks?

I looked at tank options and with the help of a member on this forum decided that stainless steel would be the optimum type of tank. Since I hadn't seen any at the vendors I was familiar with, we decided to just fabricate one for my frame off project.

My tig welder asked me if I thought others might be interested in them so I told him I would post this to find out. I'm not completely certain, but I would imagine the price would be somewhere around $500.

Again, I am just gauging interest and not taking orders. If you think it's something that you would be interested in I would appreciate your response.

Thanks

Hey Revelation, that's really nice!!;D Are you going to run a body lift with the that tank? Also might you have some measurements and specs that you could send me so I could make one?

Thanks Jeff

Awesome tank, I too would be interested. What part of the country are located in? If the shipping didn't bring the price to high it would be sweet. I'd need one with it built for a 2" BL.

Hey Rev, that would be great because I'm planning a 1" BL when I do my 5.0 EFI swap. Also I might add some baffles to your design if you don't already have any. What sending unit are you using?
Thanks Jeff

I am going to mount mine with straps also. I considered a bracket set up similar to what BC is doing, but for my purposes I prefer the straps.

These are some progress pictures. It's the first one we have built, and is for the first Bronco I have done so I'm sure there are potential improvements. I'm open to suggestions.

I have chosen to polish my tank and straps and to build a stainless skid plate which I will also polish.

After looking at the price of the vendor SS tank I'm afraid to even ask. PLus I need to buy my EFI stuff first. Those SS tanks sure are pretty.

I decided to fabricate stainless straps and a cross bar that bolts into the same frame holes as the original tank plates.

I'd be interested in seeing alternative and possibly better mounting methods.
