Well as some of you may know I was close to paint until engine blew up. And hopefully will have some money by the beginning of next year for paint and had a idea. There is a local shop that will powder coat anything that will fit in the booth for $200. Was going to do my bumpers and rock sliders. But had the idea of doing the front grille. The whole thing. Has anyone have any pics of this of there rides?? I found the 'Rockstar Bronco' that was what I was wanting BUT with a stock grille. What do you guys think....Body color will be a gunmetal grey....Might even do the hood like in phote...Opinions please

I would powder coat it either way. Gives you killer corrosion protection on the back side and you can block sand and paint right over powdercoat if you decide to paint it.

See if you can get them to do the inside of the fenders too!

Maybe Im not asking my question right..

Yes, my grill will be painted....Im talking about painting the whole front piece a different color than the body as shown in the picture. But I was thinking after I posted this, does the grill bolt on or is it welded???

My Bronco came gray with a black grill. When I got it painted blue (Ford "Sonic Blue", color code SN) I told the paint shop to mask the grill and leave it black. They didn't. But I like it all blue.

I understand your question. I think it would look good. Gunmetal body with powder coated black WHOLE grill and matching hood would be awesome.

It's 1 piece - the grille is just the middle area of the nosepiece of the body sheet metal. Shop for an early Bronco grille, and you should find pics of that part without the headlights. It bolts to the fenders, hood latch, & core support.
