Hey guys, any good ideas on where to put the three switches for an ARB setup??

I have a stock dash, and don't really see anyplace they can go, other than way over by the glove box.

Maybe need to make a bracket???

Any pictures on what you guys have done would be great.

thanks, Norm

I puy mine where the ash tray is. Just punched out a plate (had it made at a trophy shop.) You can fit 6 switches there.

Mine are in the plastic around the column. You will want them easy to reach.

Agree with the easy to reach point. If you have a console, that's the best place. Not sure what you're using for a seat belts but if you put on a 4/5 point, you won't be reaching the dash anymore. There is a pic in my gallery that shows my console with all switches including ARB.

I don't have the 4/5 pt harness, so I don't have to worry about not reaching the dash, but I put them where the stereo used to be. I used a piece of aluminum door threshold, ran it under the wire wheel for a brushed look and mounted the 2 ARB switches & OBA (still under construction :) ) switch to the aluminum.

thanks guys. I never really thought about putting them on the center console, but I may just put them on the front of my tuffy console.

They would be within easy reach and not have to clutter up my dash too much.

Running the wires may be a little bit of a pain, though.

I recently had the same dilema. I ended up putting them in the wiper motor cover, ended up looking really clean and easily accessible. I highly recommend getting the 3 switch mounting bracket, cut one hole and insert bracket instead of 3 individual holes. I had a hard time finding this, and ended up getting it from Mouser Electronics.
