I have a few Astro van hydroboosters available.

Two choices: the ones with a flat plate coming off of the firewall and the ones with the angled bracket coming off the firewall.

The angled ones have a longer pushrod which is the perfect length to hook up to an EB brake pedal. Using this one will generally require you to fab your own mounting plate.

The flat bracket ones will bolt right up the the stock angled bracket or the offset bracket sold on ebay.

Your choice, $85 shipped.

The easy answer to your question is you can just drill four new holes in your firewall and bolt it in. That will mount it, but you'll need to lengthen the push rod to reach the brake pedal and you'll have to come up with pressure hoses to power it.

If you don't want to drill new holes in the firewall, there are at least three options that I know of using various prefabricated brackets. These obviously add to the cost of the project, but make for a much better installation in my opinion.

On the ones with the flat bracket that have the shorter rod, you do exactly that. Cut it in a location that will allow you to add threads to each side of the cut rod and use a coupling.

sorry was in a hurry. the angled hydrobooster you said was easier to install, as long as a mounting bracket was fabricated, is it angled or is it used also as a spacer and what years are these hydroboosters available on the astro vans. first time I heard about those on this forum. appreciate more info

I don't know the years of the vans with the angled brackets. I just pull what I see and don't pay attention to the years. The length of the rod on the angled bracket ones is the perfect length for bolting straight to the firewall. Beyond that, I don't know. There are at least four different ways I've seen hydroboosters mounted on Broncos. I'm sure each one requires different amounts of fab work.

90-95 Astro vans, 90-93 had a 1/2 hole at the end of the rod. 94-95 had a 5/8 hole.
There is a guy on EBay that sells the bell crank adapter for the factory angle bracket. He also makes an aftermarket bracket that he sells with the bell crank adapter. The adapter comes with bronze bushings that allow you to use both sized holes...
