Astroboost Part List

Thanks again to members on help with my brake system. I have decided to order Toms front disc brake kit and will keep drums in the rear for now.

As recommended I am going with astroboost for the power and wanted to see if there is an updated part list with part numbers that I will need. I saw a few older threads on this topic, but not sure if this installation has been made easier as more members have done the install recently. Also, I have power steering out of a 77 bronco, will this work with the astoboost?

TIA

I used AN fittings and stainless braided hoses for mine but there are a lot of options out there. Some guys just have the hoses custom made at Napa or a hydraulic shop.
Any idea on what you are wanting to use?

You're asking if the power steering pump & box off the '77 will work right?

They should both be fine as long as you get the correct fittings. You can add a second return to your PS pump or just put a Tee in and use one.

It has not changed much, guys are playing with other configurations from different vehicles. Lots of posts on this subject, if u want it to work with no problems stick to the astro set up, 80s camero master and a disc/drum porp valve witch should come in ur front disc kit. ur 77 ps pump will work but it will not have duel returns so u have to T the boost return in on the ps box return line or u can upgrade to a saginaw dual return pump or weld/braze a return into ur ford can. the only other thing u will run into is the various mountings of the hydo, lots of brackets to go direct, some firewall mods/grinding, i went with the stock angled bracket, bolted right up, only had to move the tab on the bell crank to get the rod to line up. hope this helps, good luck and when u get it done put ur seat belt on when u try it for the first time or u will kiss the window.
