Went to 2 parts stores and they can't get me one! That used to be a fairly common carburetor. Have a sick Edelbrock on my '74, trying to get it back going & was gonna use an old (1966) 4100 (600 cfm ) I have. Guess I'll take a chance on a kit off of eBay.

I believe that's where I got my last 4100 rebuild kit...but I've no idea which vendor it was.

I got some from a Ford dealer a few years ago. They were discontinued, but still had old stock at the central warehouse. I ordered a couple since I figured they would run out at some point. May be worth checking if you can't find a good kit elsewhere.

The real, as in not a chain, parts store here in Tucson simply packed one off the shelf. It was less than $30. That was just a few months ago. All the parts were as good as OE.

The NAPA Echlin kit is really good and readily available. The cheapest most inclusive kit is from Autozone. It is a Sorenson kit and nearly identical to the Echlin kit from NAPA but includes the secondary diaphragm for half the price. It is my understanding that both are made by Standard Motor Products.

NAPA CRB 25401

Autozone 96-134D

I buy the Autozone kits.

Thanks for the help, you guys are awesome. I'll call Autozone with that part ##. I found 3 Edelbrock 1406 carbs I had, but I wanna try this old 4100 out. Seems like they really suck the gas, but, EB's weren't made to be economy rides right??

ordered me an Autozone (Sorenson) kit for $25, anxious to see how that 4100 does. It was on a '66 F100 I had yrs ago, did fine back then. Anyway, thx again for the help, haven't bought a carb kit in several yrs
