Introducing BadShoe’s Ford AODE/4R70W air test plate. This tool is used to verify clutch, band, and accumulator activation on the AODE/4R70W-75E family once the tranny is assembled. The kit comes with an 8x13- ¼” 6061 alloy test plate, twenty-one stainless steel hold down bolts, two line-up studs, gasket and instructions. I have added a “peep” hole in the plate so the OD band application can be observed. By using this tool, you can verify the integrity of the piston seals and slip rings.
