Hey, starting to work on a Bronco that my Dad and I picked up and had a few questions for you guys with experience.

Motor is Ford 170 CI 6cyl.
1 Spark Plugs (a) Type? (b) Plug Gap?
2 Ignition Points (a) Gap? (b) dwell angle?
3 Compressio(a) min/max?
4 King pin removal/ replacement instructions?

Any help from you guys would be greatly appreciated!! Happy New Year!!

There are some good I6 guys on here but for questions 1-3 you can also go to fordsix.com they are ford six guys and very helpful. I think they have a section on the site called inline specs or data something like that. Would answer these questions. Good luck.

Also get the Ford six performance manual if you keep the six.

170 specs.

Us sixer gotta stick together!

Plug type: bf82
Plug gap: .034
Distributor point dwell: 37
Point gap: .025 for 66-67; .027 for the rest
Compression: 175 or within 20 of eachother (what an old mechanic told me)

Hope that helps, pm me if you have other questions, recently rebuilt one myself, have most of the research done.
