BC Broncos bracket & saginaw pump don't match up? WTF?

So I ordered BC Bronco's saganaw pump bracket but it doesn't fit the saganaw pump I got from the pick-a-part. The pump was from a ford pu early 90's & the bolt holes don't match up. What gives? Do I have the wrong pump? I've tried every combination for Chuck's bracket & still can't get more than one bolt threaded. I've got them on my benchtop & ready to break something as I've got the rest of my 4x4x2 box steering upgrade parts ready to install & plenty of time this weekend to do my steering project. Any help would be appreciated. Does anyone have a good pic of the saganaw box so that I can compare the one I've got with one that will work? A bolt pattern would be awesome to see if the one I've got is right or wrong. Thanks.

Might be hard to see. http://www.wildhorses4x4.com/category/HD_Delphi_Steering_Pumps

I'm pretty sure all the saginw/delphi pumps have the same bolt pattern.
Worst case go down to the parts store with your bracket and check out a 70 ch#vy pump see if it matches or not maybe the bracket is jacked up.

Thanks Broncnaz,

My angle grinder fixed it. The bracket was hitting the side of the pump & not allowing the bolt holes to line up.

I ground the portion of the bracket that was hitting the side of the pump. Since I'm not the greatest with a grinder, actually bought my first grinder for this project, I ended up painting the bracket afterwards. The high-temp BBQ grill paint from Home Depot works great & leaves a nice matte finish. Ended up painting the pump as well. I also ran into a slight problem with the frame re-enforcement plate from BC Broncos. I drilled the new holes as best I could & ended up on the edge of the weld on the front x-member. The bolt sleeves are too wide as well as I've had to grind the hell out of them to get into the frame rail.

Those brackets are made for the GM Saginaw pumps, they are clocked a bit different. So that's the reason everybody has had to notch them, including myself.
