BC Bronco’s EFI Fuel tank, no fuel pressure

I have a 4 year old EFI internal pump tank. Has alway worked flawlessly, until yesterday no fuel, pressure. The pump cycles, will run continuously when I jump the relay. I have a pressure gauge at the rail. The Schraeder valve gauge adaptor has a plug which I removed and checked. Bone dry.
Tank is 90% full. Could the pump have dropped off the pick up? I am dreading emptying the tank and dropping it to find out. Any ideas before I drop it?

Possible idea is to grab an extra hose (5' or so maybe shorter) and connect it directly to the tank. See if the pump pushes fuel out directly connected to the tank (connect the loose end to a bucket or something to catch the fuel) try to divide and conquer. If you can't get it to pump directly from the tank then you may have your answer on having to drain the tank. If it does pump then start working forward. Good luck

If the pump is running and sounds normal it’s probably a blocked fuel filter. Be careful removing the hose as it will be under pressure, 40 psi! Safety glasses and earplugs. 10 years ago I had the same situation, was laying under the Bronco when I pulled the line off. Gas shot out in a stream in my face, instinctively I turned my head and filled my ear canal with fuel. Dr said my eardrum didn’t like it, I now have ringing in that ear constantly, be safe, I wasn’t.

I've been running the BC Broncos EFI tank for about 12 years. About 6 years ago I had a no start issue and checked the fuel pressure at the fuel rail and it was zero. The fuel pump in the tank is connected to the output with a piece of submersible rubber fuel line. I dropped the tank and pulled the access plate on top of the tank and found the house had failed. Make sure if you have to replace the intake hose that you use submersible fuel line! Regular fuel link will denigrate if left submersed in fuel as it uses a different rubber on the outside lining. I was not aware of this at the time and ended up dropping the tank about a month later to replace the line again. The submersible line is hard to find and expensive, I ended up ordering it through NAPA and it cost approximately $25 a foot at the time.
