Bead roller

There was someone who made their own floors with one a year ago or so, seemed to turn out nicely, maybe just keep searching for that thread. I THINK it was a father son build, but i cant find the thread right off.

Looks to be pretty much the same bead roller that Eastwood sells, no experience with it from my end though

Just remember it's for 18 gauge max. Wouldn't want to do production work with it, but I've used mine frequently, and it'll do the job. It's a 2 person job, one to crank and one to guide.

Yep they work great on 18 ga which is what the floors are anyway. You need to reinforce the jack screw bolt and replace the jack screw with a hardened bolt and nut as it will break on you in about a couple turns. Also making a crank is very nice also as its kinda tough to tighten it the way they want you to out of the box. Also you must have a partner to turn the crank as you feed the material. Just as long as you are prepared to modify the roller before you even start on the floors its worth the price of admission. My floors turned out very well and they actually fit very nicely unlike the stamped universal stuff out there.
