My limited research reveals the following; It appears Mr and Mrs Beard (senior) have retired from making Beard seats; One of the children has moved the business somewhere in Arizona and has changed the focus to making seats for ATV's; I get no return phone calls from anyone at Beard and I am unable to find a dealer who sells their products; The latest catalog I have found is 2019 but I do not know if any of those products are still current. If anyone has additional firsthand information I would appreciate it. Thank you. Mark
Ed and Barbara Beard retired years ago - they are both well into their 80s now (I think they're both still living?). They sold it to a guy in southern CA probably 15-18 years ago? The company was called Red Art and he greatly expanded their offerings. They seemed to have just disappeared in the past 5 years or so - I've had other friends looking for them with no success either. Their website now places them in Riverside. Let me ask around a bit with some other racing friends and see what I can find.
Be careful when buying any seats wider than the old beard super seats. If you're going to run a top, you have to mount the seat inward enough for the shoulder portion the seat to be inside and it usually is no longer centered to the steering wheel.
Dredging up this old thread, any current information on Beard or anyone doing stuff for the Beard seats? looking to replace covers on a set of ultras (extra wide).
Just thought I would throw it out there before I go to an upholstery place.....

Good luck, Jon. I went through this several years ago for the same model. Redart is long gone. Wound up replacing mine with Mastercrafts. Less expensive than a local reupholstery job. Unfortunately the Beard/Redart seat brackets weren't compatible with the Mastercraft frames so I had to replace those as well.
